About Mashusha Guest House

Mashusha Guesthouse is set in the historical village of Shoshong, in the Central Botswana. The village is known for its spectacular hills and historical sites. The village was in the past known as the capital of the Bangwato Tribe. Mashusha guesthouse in the midst of the Shoshong village is the ideal accommodation option for the corporate and the leisure traveller as it is centrally located. The place is quite with a natural view comprising of thorny trees and the creators marvellous hill arrangement. Hill climbing and bush walks being one of the most enjoyable activities.

This guest house comprises 10 super guest rooms that a guest will never forget.  Six guestrooms can take a tri beds and 4 can take twin beds at maximum. Otherwise on normal days we got king and double guestrooms. The units are all en-suite and have air-conditioners, HD Television sets with DStv channels, and free Wi-Fi. Laundry services are available at minimal cost to the guest. Parking is available within the premises, a monitored alarm and Security Officer on site. The luxurious guesthouse also offers breakfast, meals and laundry services on request. A complimentary self-parking is available on site.

Guests will be able to visit various historical sites in Shoshong. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary is under two hours away from Shoshong and is not to be missed. Hill climbing and bush walks can be enjoyed by our guests and arranged prior to the visit. Mashusha is an outstanding facility to lodge and enjoy the hospitality of our exceptional staff with customer focus.

Activities/Events

Mokoto wa Lesoso – a cultural activity showing how the people of Shoshong excel in the cooking of our traditional pounded beef/goat meat called “seswaa”.

Investors show – where investors come to show case their products and share opportunities with the business community and villagers.

Hill climbing – where you climb to the top of the hill in the early mornings and this can last for 2-3 hours. Guests have to book before the visit.

Historical site tour – guests are taken through a 3-4 hour tour on the hills to view the historical sites.
